Commercial Kitchen Equipment Warranty Policy

This policy explains Tarzan Kitchen warranty review, claim evidence, technical support and spare parts procedures for commercial kitchen equipment orders.

Last updated: August 3, 2026 Website: tarzankitchen.com

Coverage is product- and order-specific. The quotation, proforma invoice, sales contract, manual or warranty document takes priority where it differs from this general page.

1. Warranty overview

This commercial kitchen equipment warranty policy explains the general process used to review manufacturing-defect and component-fault claims for Tarzan Kitchen equipment supplied under an accepted B2B order.

It does not create identical coverage for every product, component or destination. The quotation, proforma invoice, sales contract, manual or product-specific warranty document controls where it states different terms.

A warranty is not a maintenance contract or an unconditional promise to replace an entire machine. Correct installation, operation, cleaning and routine maintenance remain important to any warranty review.

2. Warranty period

The applicable warranty period and its starting date are confirmed for each product or order in the relevant commercial or technical documents. The period may differ by model, component, custom configuration or commercial arrangement.

If a general website statement conflicts with an accepted order document, the accepted document takes priority.

3. What may be covered

Subject to the applicable warranty period, evidence and technical review, coverage may apply to:

  • A verified manufacturing defect present in the supplied equipment.
  • A component fault attributable to manufacturing or material quality.
  • An assembly error confirmed through inspection or remote diagnosis.
  • Another fault expressly included in the product-specific warranty terms.

Coverage is based on the confirmed cause of failure, not only on the fact that the equipment has stopped operating.

4. What is not covered

Unless an accepted order document states otherwise, warranty coverage does not apply to damage or failure caused by:

  • Incorrect voltage, frequency, phase, plug, wiring, grounding or unstable power supply.
  • Incorrect gas type, gas pressure, regulator, ventilation or combustion setup.
  • Installation, adjustment or repair that does not follow the supplied requirements.
  • Unauthorised modification, disassembly or replacement with unsuitable parts.
  • Misuse, overload, impact, water ingress, fire, pests, corrosion or unsuitable surroundings.
  • Grease, scale, dust or residue caused by inadequate cleaning or maintenance.
  • Ordinary wear, consumable use or cosmetic change that does not affect normal function.
  • Transport damage handled under the carrier or shipping-claim process.
  • An event outside reasonable control, including flood, lightning or major utility failure.

5. Wear and consumable parts

Items such as seals, gaskets, belts, filters, lamps, fuses, trays, knobs and similar replaceable parts may wear during normal commercial use. Heating elements, glass and other components can also fail because of scale, impact, incorrect voltage or operating conditions.

Coverage for a wear or consumable part depends on the cause of failure and the product-specific terms. A verified manufacturing defect may be reviewed; ordinary wear and maintenance-related damage are treated differently.

6. Information required for an equipment warranty claim

A complete equipment warranty claim can usually be assessed more accurately than a message that only says the machine is not working. Please provide:

  • Company name, contact person and order or invoice reference.
  • Product model and serial number where available.
  • A clear description of the fault and when it started.
  • Full-machine, nameplate, installation and damaged-part photographs.
  • A clear video showing the operating sequence and fault.
  • Voltage, frequency, phase, gas, water, drainage or ventilation information relevant to the model.
  • Maintenance and repair history where it may affect the diagnosis.

Do not dispose of a suspected defective component until the review is complete or written disposal approval is given.

7. Warranty claim process

1. Submit the caseSend the order reference, model, fault description, photographs and video.
2. Initial reviewThe available evidence is checked and additional tests or information may be requested.
3. Remote diagnosisThe support team may guide basic measurements, component checks or a video call.
4. Cause assessmentThe likely cause is compared with installation, operation and product-specific warranty terms.
5. Proposed remedyA practical response is proposed according to the confirmed cause and applicable terms.
6. Case recordEvidence, advice, parts and agreed actions should be recorded until the case is closed.

8. Available remedies

Depending on the confirmed cause, product condition and written warranty terms, a remedy may include:

  • Operating, installation or maintenance guidance.
  • Remote troubleshooting and test instructions.
  • Supply of a replacement component.
  • Repair guidance for a qualified local technician.
  • Another written solution agreed for the specific case.

Replacement of an entire machine, a refund or a credit is not automatic and requires separate written approval.

9. Parts, local labour and freight

Whether a replacement component is supplied without charge depends on the warranty decision and the product-specific terms.

International freight, import duty, customs clearance, local labour, travel, removal, reinstallation and testing costs are handled according to the accepted order documents or another written agreement. These costs are not assumed to be included unless that is stated in writing.

Tarzan Kitchen can provide spare parts support for confirmed models, subject to identification, availability and commercial terms.

10. Shipping damage

Shipping damage is reviewed separately from a manufacturing warranty claim. On delivery, inspect the carton, crate, pallet and equipment before discarding the packaging.

Photograph any crushed area, puncture, water mark, broken crate, missing carton or visible equipment damage. Keep labels and transport documents, and note visible damage on the carrier document where local procedure permits.

Notice periods and liability for transport damage depend on the shipping documents, Incoterm, insurance and carrier rules.

11. Installation and utility requirements

Commercial equipment should be installed and commissioned by a person qualified for the equipment and local requirements. Installation evidence may be requested where the fault could be related to utilities or setup.

Relevant checks may include voltage, frequency, phase, cable size, plug, grounding, rated power, gas type, gas pressure, water supply, drainage, ventilation and required clearance.

Do not operate equipment when the nameplate specification does not match the available utility supply.

12. Cleaning and maintenance

The buyer is responsible for routine cleaning and maintenance appropriate to the equipment. This may include grease removal, descaling, filter cleaning or replacement, lubrication, ventilation cleaning and periodic electrical or gas safety checks.

Maintenance frequency depends on the model, water quality, workload and operating environment. Follow the manual and model-specific instructions rather than applying one schedule to every product.

13. Product-specific warranty terms

Some products, components and custom orders have specific conditions. Where those conditions conflict with this general policy, the terms confirmed in the quotation, proforma invoice, sales contract, manual or warranty document take priority.

The Tarzan Kitchen Terms & Conditions explain how website information relates to accepted commercial documents.

14. Request commercial equipment technical support

To open a support case, use the Tarzan Kitchen support contact page and include the order reference, product model and evidence listed above.

For efficient commercial kitchen equipment after-sales support, send a full-machine photograph and a clear nameplate image as well as a close-up of the suspected part. This helps identify the correct version before parts or test instructions are proposed.
